Ameesha Patel and Manyata, Sanjay Dutt's wife are very good friends. Ameesha Patel, who was gung ho about launching her own production house and did so with style, found herself quite stuck in the rut with no directors accepting to make a movie for her.
There is news that she approached the likes of Kunal Kohli, Imtiaz Ali and many others, but no one came forward to don the director's hat. Having shared her woes Manyata, it was Sanjay dutt who came to the rescue of this pretty damsel.
