Mumbai: Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have been together for almost four years now. The duo are reportedly passing through a rough patch as rumors about their strained relations and lack of trust start swirling thick and fast.

Sources close to the duo say that things are no longer rosy between the two actors who are no longer at the same professional level they used to be. Kareena, though is a lot more better and earns at least double the amount that she used to earn at the beginning of their romance, is facing stiff competition from newcomers and others including Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Sonam Kapoor.

Poonam offends once again
Though the MMS has successfully grabbed the attention of a good number of web-surfers, it didn’t make the day of the desperate viewers as the footage was blurred and it didn’t show Poonam baring it all.
After watchingPoonam’s video, one of the displeased viewers commented, "I watched, diligently, the whole 5 minutes and 35 seconds of poor quality footage, and at no time does she engage in the act of undressing."
I laughed at the MMS, says Poonam
While her dare-bare act in the MMS is doing the rounds all over the web, Poonam Pandey seems to be quite chilled about it.
After the MMS started circulating on the internet, Pandey tweeted, "Check out Poonam Pandeys MMS... DONT KNOW HOW TO REACT ON THIS FEEL LIKE LOL.(sic)."
Explaining how the video got leaked online, Poonam stated that the MMS was made when she was doing a photoshoot for a magazine donning a bikini. And someone recorded the photo shoot and posted it on the web.
When asked how she felt about it, the model said that at the outset she felt bad, but then now she feels like laughing at it and she is happy to know that people can go to any extent to shoot her.
Poonam, as quoted in the TOI, said, "I was doing a bikini shoot for a mag when this was made. Someone shot it like a ghost and posted it. I felt bad initially, but then I thought, its okay.
“Let them post it and watch it. I laughed at it. You find it funny also, the extent to which people go to make vedios of you."

many from the South Indian film industry have had the good fortune to realise the dream — Asin, Trisha, Genelia and, now, Kajal Agarwal.
Currently shooting for the Hindi remake of Singam opposite Ajay Devgn, Kajal is all set to rock Bollywood. DC caught up with the lovely lady soon after her return from Bangkok, where she was shooting for the Telugu film, Dhada, which earlier took her to Europe.
Still with her head in the clouds, she laughs, “Travel is the best thing in an actress’s life... I am enjoying it.” She travelled to Goa for Singam, she says, excitedly adding, “It was like a perfect holiday trip than shooting for a film. But most of the scenes were shot in Mumbai itself, and we had a lovely time there on the sets.”
“Ajay is a prankster. I am having fun on the sets and it was lovely acting with him in my debut Hindi film.”
Kajal Agarwal is teaming up with Suriya in his next flick directed by K. V. Anand. On her role, she says, “The director told me that he was looking for an intelligent look for the film. I hope that I will meet his standards.”
Work and travel are keeping her busy, she says. So much so that not only does she have no time for romance, she doesn’t even have the time to party!
“I do not want to get distracted from my work,”she states firmly.

feel some awkwardness,” says Allu Arjun talking about doing romantic scenes; this is especially after his marriage to Sneha. Uncharacteristically shy, he says that he is still getting to know his wife of just three months and is reluctant to enact romantic scenes on screen.
More used to daredevil action sequences and intricate dances, Allu Arjun found himself a bit “frozen” while doing romantic scenes with Tamanna for Badrinath. “I never experienced such a feeling earlier in my decade-old career: this put me in quite a unique predicament,” the actor says. “I felt awkward while getting intimate with Tamanna,” confesses the famed on-screen lover-boy. Thanking Tamanna for helping him out, he says, “Usually, I make my co-stars comfortable but this time it was the other way round as Tamanna put me at ease so I could do a good job. Also, I reminded myself that I am an actor by profession, so I need to keep such inhibitions aside.”
The actor is excited about playing a “messiah” in Badrinath. “I play the role of a samurai warrior and learnt how to wield a sword for some tough stunts. It was a breathtaking experience.” Since Badrinath is his home production, Allu Arjun was involved with the film at several levels. “I had to handle two demanding jobs — an actor and producer and I think I have done a decent job,” he avers.
While the idea of remaking Magadheera in Hindi was shelved, Allu Arjun believes Badrinath has the potential to attract a pan-Indian audience. “We couldn’t remake Magadheera because we couldn’t find a committed actor and director for the Hindi version. But Badrinath has a universal theme and could be remade in any language, since it’s a romantic story of a warrior on a mythological scale.”
Romance is growing closer home. The superstar is getting to know Sneha’s likes and dislikes. “It’s too early to reel out her wish list but gradually we are getting to know each other… but we really realised that we are made for each other when we spent time in the Maldives after our wedding.”
Alongside, the actor is also growing in stature. With some big offers on hold, Allu Arjun says he will take a call on these after observing the response to Badrinath. “Everything depends on this magnum opus and it could even change the course of my career,” he says, before signing off.

Tall and beautiful Deeksha Seth who made her debut with Vedam later starred in Mirapakay and Wanted. She is paired up with Prabhas in Rebel and also has signed another film with Raviteja.

Despite being busy in Tollywood she is yet to make a mark as she hasn’t done anything phenomenal till date. However, that is not affecting her Kollywood dreams as she is in big demand over there. She is being paid a hefty sum of 50 lakh rupees per one film in Tamil film industry.

This is exceptional considering the fact that Deeksha hasn’t single release in Tamil till now. This also shows the dearth of heroines in Tamil film industry. Most of the successful Tamil heroines have been chasing either Bollywood or Tollywood and the Kollywood makers are being forced to settle down with the leftovers and less talented heroines.

SRK and Kareena Kapoor were shooting there with Anubhav directing. Everything seemed fine till Tarun got an SOS call from SRK asking him to fly out to help them. People are already wondering which director's name will go in the credits."

Sinha reacts, "It's insulting to Shah Rukh, Karan, Tarun and me to answer such questions. This is an important sequence. I don't think Tarun would do this for any lesser friends than Karan and SRK. It's a big sequence and everyone is pitching in to see how they can help. What more can you expect from a friend? The day I'm not the director, it will be Shah Rukh Khan who will say this to everybody else."

Anubhav explains further, "Shah Rukh is missing his right hands on the film. While bobby chawla is in hospital, his other deputy, Karim Morani, is in judicial custody. Also my first assistant director, Vaibhav Mishra is getting married on June 24 and leaving the set tomorrow. So what do we do? We need help and so we ask for it from our friends. One phone call from Shah Rukh and Tarun flew down to help us. He's been gracious enough and is helping us, in every way he can. Yesterday I gave him a big hug after we wrapped the last shot."

"I haven't directed a film in the last five years, and am living, breathing and working on my biggest film. This film is a huge investment, and my biggest challenge till date. We need friends and well wishers for a film like this! I love Tarun for doing this."

Beautifully recreating the retro era has become Balaji and MilanLuthria's forte.
After magnificently transporting the audience to the 80's Bombay in Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, it's turn to recreate the 80's Chennai in the forthcoming The Dirty Picture.
The keenly awaited multi-starrer is about the colourful, musical, and romantic journey of the 80's Tamil screen sensation, Silk Smitha, being played by Vidya Balan. Tusshar, Emraan Hashmi and Naseeruddin Shah play the men in her life.
Laughs Luthria, Right now we are in full Chennai mode. Wherever we look we see people dressed in lungis. Tamil posters adorn our walls, we start our day eating idlis to get into the mode. We bought books and watched Hindi and Tamil films of the 80's, and put that all together to arrive at an authentic colour palette.
The pre-monsoon showers in Mumbai initially made the producers of the Milan Luthria-directed The Dirty Picture jittery. However, the quick-thinking director, sensing more rain in the following days, planned his next scenes accordingly.
He shot for a few scenes using a rain machine so that if it were to rain in the coming days, he would be able to shoot conveniently and maintain continuity once the rain stopped. A rain machine is a low power hydraulic piece of equipment that creates artificial rain for use in scenes in films and television. So many times when you think you favorite stars are running around the trees in the rain it is actually a machine making it pour.
The Dirty Picture stars Vidya Balan, Tusshar, Emraan Hashmi and Naseeruddin Shah. Described as a musical it delves into the life of 80′s Tamil screen sensation, Silk Smitha.

A couple of T-town dream merchants have annoyed actresses by butchering their roles. After promising “equal significance” to all in multi-diva films, they’ve overtly favoured one actress over another during the editing.
Concerned that their hard work will go unnoticed, and unwilling to take this lying down any longer, a number of Telugu actresses are now expressing their “disappointment” when their roles are chopped or altered. Divas like Vimala Raman, Tapsee, Anjana Sukhani, Sneha Ullal, Mamta Mohandas and Tara Alisha have experienced this ordeal and are now wary of sharing screen space with other actresses.
Vimala Raman, among the actress to have suffered such ‘unkind cuts’ in Raaj says, “I was hugely disappointed with my shortened role since it wasn’t what they had initially promised me. The role kept changing in the making and totally dampened my spirits.” Debutante Anjana Sukhani cried hoarse that Don Seenu co-star Shriya Saran influenced director Gopichand and had Anjana’s role watered down. “I was a debutante so I couldn’t do much about it,” she says. And hottie Mamta Mohandas reportedly walked out of King when her role was cut. “I had some differences with the director but we sorted it out,” she says. But she is insistent that she would make a comeback only in a ‘solo’ heroine film.
Top actress Priyamani also says, “I mostly prefer solo heroine films to utilise my talent better.” The preference or the wisdom has come largely after sharing screen space with Anushka in Ragada. Debutante Tara Alisha had a miniscule role in 100% Love while Tammanah ruled the film. Gen X star Tapsee had her role scissored in a major way in Veera so that she ended up providing just the oomph factor. But she puts up a brave front denying it. Similarly, Sneha Ullal says she wasn’t disappointed in her reduced role in the hit Ala Modalaiyindi while debutante Nitya Menon hogged the limelight. “More than the role, I did that film to promote a refreshing theme and my special appearance gave a fillip to the romantic comedy,” she says.
Producer Bunny Vyas says of 100% Love, that “It was smooth sailing and we had no issues because both the actresses knew what they were doing and also understood the relevance of their characters.”
Summing up, director Vamsi Paidipally, who managed to balance the roles of Kaajal and Samantha in Brindavanam, says “We can avoid tiffs if the actresses are properly informed about their respective roles. Personally, I don’t think any director will scissor roles for personal reasons but sometimes the length or the progress of the narrative could determine such measures,” he says
